BINTAN NORTH STAR RESORT

Bintan North Star is a 54 hectare resort development with an 870 meter pristine white sand crystal water coastline. It is located on the northeast of the Bintan island, in close proximity to Bintan Resorts and within the boundaries of the Free Trade Zone. In spring 2015 a new ferry terminal connecting Bintan with Singapore, Johor (Malaysia) and several Indonesian island will be open, a 10 minute drive from the site.

The project will be one of the most innovative and comfort-orientated resorts both in Indonesia and the whole of Asia Pacific Region. The current development plan entails a high-class family oriented infrastructure capable of hosting up to 2,500 guests at a time. The project will entice and is geared towards prosperous and active family oriented people of middle age (30-50 years), seeking a second home for leisure and/or additional annual income. The development of the proposed project will rely on retail and leisure infrastructure – there will be swimming pools for each of the resorts, as well as restaurants, bars, spa-centers, healthcare centers among others; a retail center with indigenous handmade crafts (batik, wood carving, weaving etc.), bowling lanes, restaurants, cinema and conference hall with meeting rooms is also considered. There is also a preliminary indication from Howarth HTL for a construction of a water park.

Currently proposed development comprises of four mini-resorts, united inside one territory:

D4 will host a family-oriented mid-scale resort. It will include villas on the first lane, one hotel on the second lane, branded residences on the third lane and later non-branded block houses on the fourth lane

C4 and B4 will have a similar concept but lean toward a more up-scale positioning. A4 will be an upper “upscale” villa complex with a small hotel.

We believe our project will create a large number of new jobs and will make a strong positive impact on Bintan’s economy; the local community is greatly geared towards positively contributing to the exploration of the island’s unique character. We are highly appreciative of the constant support that the project is receiving from the local government: construction of a new international ferry terminal, the international airport and modern road infrastructure. The Government of Bintan fully supports and offers great approval for the Bintan North Star Resort, which further assures us of its success in the future.
